INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr James Langston of Langston's Market, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc <br /> (AGE)has prepared this quarterly report for the property located at 15615 South 7`h Street,Lathrop, <br /> California The scope of work included quarterly ground water monitoring and preparation of this <br /> I report The location of the site and the immediately surrounding area are Illustrated on Figure 1 <br /> Structures and monitoring well locations on the site are illustrated on Figure 2 Background <br /> Information and details of previous Investigation at the site are summarized in Appendix A <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> On 08 September 2003, a quarterly ground water monitoring event was performed at the site Field <br /> work was performed in accordance with California Regional Water Quality Control Board-Central <br /> Valley Region (RWQCB) and San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) <br /> guidelines for investigating underground storage tank (UST) sites and sampling ground water <br /> monitoring wells, respectively <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND PURGING <br /> A Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in eight ground water <br /> monitoring wells relative to the tops of the well casings The ground water elevations and gradient <br /> were determined from this data(Table 1) <br /> I After recording water level measurements, a disposable bailer or a Waterra Inertial pump was used <br /> to purge each monitoring well of standing water (Appendix B) Approximately 4 25 to 18 gallons <br /> were removed from the remaining wells Ground water temperature, pH and conductivity were <br /> I measured at regular intervals during the purge process using an Oakton water analyzer Field data <br /> sheets are included in Appendix B Purged water was stored on-site in labeled, 55-gallon DOT- <br /> approved drums <br /> Following purging,the depth to ground water was measured to ensure that a minimum of 80%well- <br /> volume recharge had been achieved prior to sampling <br /> I <br /> I <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmeatal,Inc <br /> I <br />
