5.0 CONTINGENCY PLANS <br /> Table 5-1 <br /> resents contingency plans forpotential emergency situations. <br /> TABLE 5-1 <br /> CONTINGENCY PLANS FOR SITE EMERGENCIES <br /> Situation Action <br /> 5.1 Evacuation 1. Immediately notify all AES personnel and clients personnel on site <br /> of the situation requiring evacuation. <br /> 2. Leave the area, report to a designated point, account for all <br /> personnel. <br /> 3. Notify Emergency Services, as appropriate. <br /> 4. Maintain site security and control measures for community safety <br /> until emergency responders arrive. <br /> 5. Notify the AES PM and the RHSO as soon as possible. <br /> 6. Notify clients representative and consult regarding subsequent <br /> remediation and administrative actions. Document each interaction <br /> with the client and note, in writing: date, time, authorizations, <br /> refusals, decisions, and commitments to actions. <br /> 5.2 Fire 1. Immediately notify all AFS personnel and clients personnel on site <br /> Emergency of a situation which may require evacuation. <br /> 2. Notify the Emergency Services. <br /> 3. Employee's Option: Attempt to extinguish or control small fires <br /> with an all-purpose extinguisher. <br /> 4. Notify AES PM and the RHSO as soon as possible. <br /> 5. Notify clients representative and consult regarding subsequent <br /> remediation and administrative actions. Document each interaction <br /> with the client and note, in writing: date, time, authorizations, <br /> refusals, decisions, and commitments to actions. <br /> 5.3 Spill/Release 1. Wear appropriate PPE; stay upwind of the spill/release. <br /> 2. Turn off equipment and restrict other sources of ignition. <br /> AFS Emergency 3. Turn off pumps and shut valves to stop the flow/Ieak. <br /> Response SOPS can be 4.
