(AGE)has prepared <br /> this report for 24876 North Suttenfield Road in Acampo, California (site). The scope of work <br /> included soil sample collection and analysis and preparation of this report. Background information <br /> was included in the AGE-prepared Limited Site Assessment Work Plan (Septic TankArea), dated 05 <br /> February 2003 and approved by San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(SJC-EHD) <br /> on 07 February 2003. <br /> FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> The investigation was conducted in accordance with Limited Site Assessment Work Plan (Septic <br /> Tank Area) to collect and analyze soil samples from beneath the distribution box and ends of two <br /> leach lines of the on-site, residential septic system. On 04 February 2003 a Well Boring Permit <br /> Application was submitted to SJC-EHD, which was approved 10 February 2003. Between 06 and <br /> 08 February 2003, an AGE representative was on site to locate the sampling points requested by <br /> SJC-EHD. Utilizing an excavator and a probing rod the distribution box was located approximately <br /> three feet east of the septic tank and uncovered. The leach lines were traced to the east of the septic <br /> tank and the end of each leach line was uncovered in the area just before the drainage pit. The <br /> specific design of the septic system and locations of the sampling points are indicated on the site plan <br /> (Figure 2). <br /> SOIL SAMPLING <br /> On 10 February 2003 an AGE representative met Mr. Michael Infurna of the SJC-EHD at the site <br /> for approval of the requested sampling locations.
