(AGE)has prepared
this Limited Site Assessment Work Plan for 24876 North Suttenfield Road in Acampo, California.
The scope of work includes the advancement of two soil borings for the collection and analysis of
soil samples. The location of the site is illustrated on Figure 1. A plan of the site is illustrated on
Figure 2.
1.0. BACKGROUND
The site is on North Suttenfield Road in between Jahant Road and Collier Road, in a
residential/agr-icultural area of Acampo (Figure 1). The property is currently occupied by David and
Deborah Miller as their primary residence.
In December 2002,the EHD identified the site as a drug laboratory where hazardous materials were
possibly disposed of into the septic system. A sample of the contents of the septic tank was analyzed.
The analytical results showed that hazardous materials were indeed present in the septic tank.At that
time the septic tank was pumped and the contents properly disposed of. The septic tank was then
plugged to prevent possible additional contamination to the soil at the site.
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (.EHD) has directed by letter dated
27 January 2003 that a work plan be prepared to investigate the extent of contamination in the soil
at the site.
837 Shaw Road,Stockton,California 95215
Telephone(209) 467-1006 FAX(209)467-1118
