A <br /> graduated acrylic bailer that has been supplied to us by <br /> Groundwater Technology, Inc. is nory being used. After receiving <br /> this bailer we were able to4see ho�,i much free product was being <br /> brought up. �I <br /> Since about the first of Islay approximately 2"" of free <br /> product have shown up in M.W. #2, and no free product has been <br /> visible in M.W. x#1. It seer.2s to take about five to six days <br /> for the free product to build up to the 24" depth in M.101. #2 <br /> so we have been bailing just once a week. As of July 1, 1989, <br /> the water level in I'.I.V1. #1 was standing at 46 feet 11 inches, <br /> and in M.W. ##2 it was 45 feet 9 inches. The water table has <br /> risen slightly since April 1, 19891. The free product which is <br /> very little has been put into a 551Egallon drum. <br /> It was our intention to submit a plan to you for a soil <br /> ventilation well by this tune, but; because the engineer had <br /> included one in his latest Proposal to us (5-12-89) , and not <br /> knowing for sure if we could do this portion ourselves because + <br /> w of -propermlicensings- it -has�not-be'en--done.- However,-=to bring =--= <br /> you up to date on this proposal Groundwater Technology, Inc. <br /> representative Jinn Grasty met with Bill I'rlazzera, Edna Rolleri, <br /> Donna and Ron Bruno, and Bill Wright. The purpose of the <br /> meeting was to try and decipher the estimated costs that would <br /> be incurred by the Estate if Groundwater Technology did all of <br /> the work. It appears that the bid Groundwater Technology, Inc. <br /> submitted has a maximum fee, however, this did not meet with <br /> our approval as many of the necessary addendums to the well <br /> were not included in the price, an'd no permitting fees or costs <br /> were included in the proposal. At' the present time 3ti1r. Grasty <br /> is working on a proposal that will' include estimates for every <br /> phase of the remainder of the project. This proposal was prom- <br /> ised to us approximately six weeks after our meeting of 6-29-89. <br /> 'C <br /> r. <br />
