INTRODUCTION <br /> In accordance with a request from Mrs Donna Bruno, co-executor of the Estate of Angelo Rolleri, <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this Closure Summary Report for the <br /> property located at 749 North Sierra Nevada Street in Stockton, California The site location is <br /> depicted on Figure 1 - Location Map The surrounding area and monitoring well locations are <br /> illustrated on Figure 2 - Vicinity Map <br /> Field procedures were performed in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (CVRWQCB) and San Joaquin County Public Health Services - Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS-EHD) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 2.0. BACKGROUND <br /> 2 1 UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK REMOVAL <br /> The site is located on the southwest corner of North Sierra Nevada Street and Flora Street in a flat <br /> primarily residential area of Stockton, California Genova Bakery occupies the only building on the <br /> site A single 350-gallon gasoline underground storage tank (UST), its associated piping and <br /> dispenser were removed from beneath the sidewalk, on the west side of North Sierra Nevada Street, <br /> in September 1987 The location of the former UST is depicted on Figure 3 -Site Plan Several small <br /> holes were noted in the tank during removal Samples collected from beneath the UST indicated that <br /> an unauthorized release of hydrocarbons had occurred The PHS/EHD required investigation of the <br /> lateral and vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> I22 SITE ASSESSMENT <br /> On 08 and 09 March 1988, three ground water monitoring wells, MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3 as <br /> depicted on Figure 2, were installed by Groundwater Technology, Inc (GTI) Each well was <br /> installed to a depth of 55 feet below surface grade (bsg) with a slotted interval between 30 feet and <br /> 55 feet bsg <br /> On 07 and 08 July 1988, monitoring wells MW-4, MW-5 and MW-6 (Figure 2) were installed near <br /> the site by GTI Monitoring well MW-7 was installed near the site on 25 August 1988 Each well <br /> was drilled to a depth of 55 feet bsg and screened from 25 to 55 feet bsg The installation procedures <br /> of monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-7 were summarized in reports dated 13 November 1987 <br />
