16. Protective clothing. <br />The owner or operator shall provide to personnel working in the <br />hazardous waste area of the facility adequate numbers of the fol- <br />lowing National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) <br />approved equipment if appropriate: <br />(a) Protective head gear and face masks. <br />(b) Chemically resistant apparel and gloves. <br />(c) Self-contained breathing apparatus and respirators with the <br />approved cartridges. <br />17. Warning alarm system. <br />If at any time there is a sole employee on the premises, the employee <br />shall have immediate access to an alarm or other communication device <br />capable of summoning external emergency assistance. <br />18. Compliance with settlement. <br />The owner or operator shall comply with all conditions of the <br />"Stipulation and Judgement Approving Settlement" filed on February 9, <br />1981 in the case of the People of the State of California et al. <br />v. Occidental Petroleum Corporation et al. <br />
