Unfortu.%Ately, the degree of risk to humans who ingest DBCP is <br />nv: kr>vwn at this time. <br />Since any decision as to the quantity of DBCP which can be safely ingested <br />by hucans is likely to be in error based on current knowledge, it would <br />stem the practical solution would be to discontinue the ingestion of water <br />corta:ning known quantities of DBCP until more definitive information makes <br />it possible to establish an acceptable level for consumptive use. <br />You ure hereby advised by the Sanitary Engineering Section of the State <br />;*parta.ent of Health Services not to use this well water for drinking purposes. <br />Sincerely,/ <br />Homer R.
