CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br />CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br />MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM NO. <br />FOR <br />OCCIDENTAL CHEMICAL AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS, INC. <br />LATHROP, SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br />A. GROUND WATER REMEDIAL_ SYSTEM MONITORING <br />Monitoring of the ground water remedial system shall be conducted in accordance <br />with the Stipulation. Ground water remedial system monitoring includes perfor- <br />mance monitoring of the carbon adsorption treatment system, the extraction wells <br />(EW), the permanent wells (PW), and the injection water. <br />B. INJECTION WELLS <br />1. Operation of the injection wells shall be continuously monitored for total <br />volume injected, rate of volume injected, and injection pressure. The data <br />shall be reported on a quarterly basis. <br />2. A sampling station shall be established where representative samples of the <br />injection water can be obtained. <br />3. A sample of the injection waters shall be properly collected, stored, pre- <br />served and analyzed. The sampling shall be performed according to the fre- <br />quency and parameters established as part of the ground water remedial system <br />program and monitoring requirements of Part A. <br />REPORTING <br />In reporting the monitoring data, OCAP shall arrange the data in tabular form so <br />that the date, the constitutents and their concentrations, and other data as <br />required are readily discernible. <br />Monitoring reports shall be submitted to the Regional Board by the 15th day of the <br />month following the respective monitoring period. <br />The annual report discussed in D.5., of the Standard Provisions and Reporting <br />Requirements shall be submitted. <br />If OCAP monitors any pollutant at the locations designated herein more frequently <br />than is required by this Order, OCAP shall include the results of such monitoring <br />in the calculation and reporting of the values required in the discharge Monitor- <br />ing Report Form. Such increased frequency shall be indicated on the discharge <br />Monitoring Report Form. <br />OCAP shall implement the above monitoring program by the effective date of this <br />Order. <br />Ordered by <br />TRP:dg <br />3/02/83 <br />WILLIAM H.
