Occidental is now in the interim <br />period of the Phase II study to <br />determine how to solve existing <br />problem conditions. Three new <br />sites, including a total of seven <br />wells have been drilled. <br />Engineers are considering how <br />best to handle the concentrated <br />areas of DBCP. Although the <br />study indicates there is no health <br />hazard, Rice said Occidental will <br />continue the final phases of the <br />three-part study. <br />"We are evaluating alter- <br />natives for mitigation.
