Jack Tone Road <br /> USE: Kennel <br /> CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. Submission of three (3) sets of detailed kennel construction plans to the San <br /> JoaquinLocal Health Distiict for review prior to construction. <br /> 2. Kennels are subject to a yearly permit, environmental health fee and inspection <br /> by the Local Health District. <br /> 3. The shelter for the dogs should be constructed in such a manner as to be easily <br /> accessible for cleaning and servicing. <br /> 4. INterior walls of the shelter and associated maintenance room should be easily <br /> cleanable finish, perferable of painted plaster or concrete. <br /> 5. The shelter floor and the immediate feeding area within pens or dog runs shall be <br /> of smooth concrete, coved on edges and graded toward a floor drain leading to <br /> legal sewage disposal facilities. <br /> 6. The remainder of each penor dog run may be smooth earthpack, preferable covered <br /> with pea gravel to a depth of three inches. <br /> 7. A convenient water supply and legal waste water disposal facilities shall be available <br /> for washing food preparation equipment, bathing of animals, as well as washing down <br /> shelters and pens or dog runs. <br /> 8. Animal food will be stored and fed in a manner which will not attract or serve as <br /> harborage or breeding site for flies or rodents. <br /> 9. Applicant shall demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Local Health District that <br /> he/she has appropriate facilities and means for daily cleaning and disposal of dog 1 <br /> droppings from pens or shelter without creating a nuisance. <br /> 10. Acceptable disposal includes wrapping in two (2) layers of paper and depositing in <br /> garbage can, burial under 18 inches tight soil , or flushing into sewer. ** <br /> * Size of septic system shall be based 1200 gallon septic tank plus 15 gallon/cage or <br /> 10 gallon/dog (use highest total ) . <br /> ** For new kennels disposal must be in spptic system or sewer. <br /> 11.
