San Joaquin Valley's air quality relative to National <br /> Merced County and State Ambient Air Quality Standards has been <br /> Bill Sousa <br /> Supervisor designated as a non-attainment area by the California Air <br /> San Joaquin County Resources Board as follows: <br /> Nick Blom <br /> Supervisor PM-10 - Non-attainment <br /> Stanislaus County <br /> Clyde Gould CO - Non-attainment (for Stockton <br /> Supervisor Urbanized Area) <br /> Tulare County Ozone — Non—attainment <br /> Mel McLaughlin <br /> Councilmember <br /> City of Wasco The California Clean Air Act, AB 2595, requires counties <br /> which are designated non-attainment to achieve a 5% <br /> annual reduction in emissions until the standards are <br /> met. <br /> 2 . The applicant should be aware of the PM-10 Rule and <br /> the Indirect Source Review Rule, both of which are <br /> currently proposed by the District for adoption in the <br /> near future. Both of these rules may affect the <br /> applicant's project. A copy of these rules is available <br /> upon written request to the District. <br /> 3 . Emissions generated during the construction process <br /> are of concern to the District. The attached dust <br /> control practices shall be implemented if and when <br /> construction takes place. <br /> David L.
