This northern industrial area, <br /> which is designated as Limited Industrial on the General Plan, <br /> includes the Safeway Distribution Center and the Patterson Pass <br /> Business Park. <br /> GP-92-13 and ZR-92-16 have been scheduled for public hearing before <br /> the Planning Commission on June 17 , 1993 at which time staff will <br /> be recommending that these applications be denied. This <br /> recommendation is based on the inability to make the findings <br /> necessary for approving a General Plan Amendment and <br /> Reclassification. <br /> The Development Committee meeting is intended to provide the <br /> applicant with the preliminary findings of the review of their <br /> application. This memorandum is not intended to be a complete <br /> analysis of the project, but is intended to inform the applicant of <br /> the major policy considerations and environmental issues. Further <br /> policy analysis may be included in the complete staff report which <br /> will be prepared for the Planning Commission public hearing. <br />
