The Park is located at the intersection of
Schulte Road and Hansen Road, and is separated from the proposed
devlopment parcels only by the California Aqueduct.
Kin & Lyons wishes to emphasize that it has no objection to the
pro osed operators of the facilities to be located on the
pro erties or their businesses. However, King & Lyons is
ext emelt' concerned that development of the facilities without
the publicly owned and operated services described above will
result in a deterioration of the quality of industrial and
commercial facilities being constructed and operated in the
vicinity of the Park.
In addition, as is the case with any substantial new development,
the proposed projects and their related environmental imp
acts
shOILId be closely scrutinized in order to ensure that the
developers properly mitigate the effects of development on the
environment. Specifically, it appears that an Environmental
Imp ct Report should be required to examine the impacts of
dev lopment of such property on air quality, water quality,
314 tton Avenue, Suite 200 415 322-7100
Palo to, California 94301 Fax 415 322-6635
V
