Marina Investors I (Tower Park Marina, EIR No. ER-89-
2 , SCH No. 88092626)
------------------------ -----------------------------------------
In compliance with the requirements of the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines, the Environmental Impact Report
(EIR) , prepared and previously certified as adequate for the Tower
Park Marina expansion, is being recirculated for the proposed Time
Extension and Revision of Approved Action for the Tower Park
project.
The Tower Park Marina and Recreational Vehicle Park expansion was
approved by the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors on
September 12 , 1991. This approval was valid until March 12 , 1993 .
There were specific conditions of approval attached to the permit
relative to timing of each phase .of development. Because of the
general.. downtubn in the economy, the applicants are requesting a
one year time extension on the RV Park Permit, until March 12 ,
1994 , and to change the phasing timing requirements to reflect the
one year time extension. There has been no request to change any
other conditions, and no other circumstances relative to the
project have changed.
Because an EIR had been required for this project originally, the
CEQA Guidelines require that the EIR be recirculated and
recertified as adequate prior to the Board of Supervisors ' action
on the Time Extension and Revision to Approved Action. If you have
any questions regarding either the environmental review procedure
or the project itself, please contact Kerry Sullivan, Senior
Planner, at (209) 468-3140.
KS/drh
Enclosure
TPEIRMEM.KS
