All of the activitiao <br /> will be oriented to the water. <br /> - A deck will be constructed--this will Gerve as a gathering place--- <br /> trellis ' may be constructed to provide some shade. Landscaping <br /> will be installed. <br /> - A second levee will be constructed behind the existing one before <br /> the launching ramps are constructed. The Reclamation District has <br /> k <br /> stated that no work can be done between November I and April <br /> The applicants intend to start as soon as possible but no work will <br /> be done on the levee between the above mentioned dates. <br /> - Four additional boat slips are also proposed. <br /> - No additional land area will be involved in this expansion. it is <br /> more of an infilling of the existing development. <br /> - An Army Corps of Engineers permit will be required. This will have <br /> to be approved before any levee work can be started. The State Lands <br /> Commission has stated that they have no objections to the proposal. <br /> - The State of Califoniia standards state that the desirable slope for <br /> a launching ramp is 10%--the maximum being 15% and the minimum is 5%. <br /> Reinforced concrete is the desirable surfacing. The maximum backing <br /> on the ramp is 150' and the minimum width should be 12 ' . The minimum <br /> maneuvering area should be a 351 radius. <br /> - One of the principles of the General Plan states : "To assure the <br /> preservation of the Delta and the opportunity for the public to know <br /> and enjoy this unusual recreation source. " And one of the principles <br /> states : "Private developers will be encouraged to provide the com- <br /> mercial forms of recreation facilities or services either as conces- <br /> sionaires in public recreation areas or as private establishmentz. <br /> REC OMENDAT ION AND FINDINGS <br /> - Ratify the Negative oeclar arion. <br /> - Approval, subject to the following conditions,. <br /> Plan approval by all dep"--LrtientsN <br /> -to include : <br /> a.
