The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been addressed for ACME SAW AND SUPPLY INC as of March 27, 2020. Open violations from January 08, 2020 inspection Violation #113 - Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. OBSERVATION: Copies of consolidated manifest receipts from 2017- 2018 for hazardous wastes including parts washer solution and used oil and gas mixture were not found on site during the inspection REGULATION GUIDANCE: The generator shall retain each consolidated manifest receipt for at least three years. This period of retention is extended automatically during the course of any unresolved enforcement action regarding the regulated activity or as requested by the department or a certified unified program agency. CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately locate a copy of all consolidated manifest receipts from 2017 - 2018 and maintain them on site. OBSERVATION: Bills of lading for the recycling of lead acid batteries from Jan. 8, 2017 - Jan. 8, 2020 were not found on site. REGULATION GUIDANCE: (A) The generator shall use either the manifest or a bill of lading which fulfills the requirements of Title 13 CCR section 1161, to record the shipment of spent lead-acid storage batteries to a person who stores the batteries or who uses, reuses, recycles or reclaims the batteries or their components. (B) The generator shall retain, at the generator's place of business for at least three years, a legible copy of each manifest or bill of lading which identifies spent lead-acid storage batteries shipped to a person who stores the batteries or who uses, reuses, recycles or reclaims the batteries or their components.
