(Wright) and has the following comments.
The Report documents the installation of three shallow groundwater monitoring wells to
continue the investigation of the above subject contaminated underground storage tank
(UST) site. Analytical results reported from soil and groundwater samples indicate that
one of the wells, MW-2, is impacted with total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHd).
In order to verify the reported contamination and determine the next required investigative
action at the site, routine quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling should be
initiated.
Please proceed with initiation of routine quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling of
the three wells, and submittal of reports documenting the results to the EHD and to
GeoTracker, the State Water Resources Control Board database website. The wells were
installed and initially sampled in December 2008; therefore, the routine quarterly events
must begin immediately and must continue until directed otherwise by the EHD.
The Report was submitted to GeoTracker, but the boring logs, laboratory data in
Electronically Deliverable Format, latitude, longitude and elevation survey report have not
bee submitted to GeoTracker. These items should be submitted to GeoTracker no later
than May 6, 2009. If you have any questions please call Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337.
Sincerely,
Lori Duncan, REHS Margare Lagorio, REHS
Registered Environmental Health Specialist Program Coordinator
c: James Barton, CVRWQCB, 11020 Sun Center Drive, #200, Rancho Cordova CA 95670
John Lynch, Wright Environmental, 2395 East Pescadero Avenue, Tracy CA 95304
