Palmer, Consulting Hydrogeologist (CMP) has prepared this <br /> Monitoring Well Destruction Workplan for the Delta Disposal site at 99 6th Street, <br /> Tracy (Figure 1.). This site received a "no further action" letter from the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) in August 2012. The <br /> EHD will issue a Case Closure Letter once the existing monitoring wells have <br /> been properly destroyed and all onsite waste materials have been removed and <br /> properly disposed. <br /> This workplan has been, prepared on behalf-of the City of Tracy (City) and <br /> contains an outline -of the proposed well ` destruction method. Wright <br /> Environmental Services, Inc.-`boring logs,' monitoring well construction well <br /> details, and maps.illustrating rnonitoring'well locations are attached. Once the <br /> EHD has reviewed and approved the workplan the City will select the contractor <br /> for the well destruction and submit well destruction permits to EHD. ,The City will <br /> directly contract the qualified C-57 well drilling contractor-to perform the work. <br /> The City is responsible for all well destruction drilling waste storage and proper <br /> disposal. <br /> Please note that the EHD may amend the actual well destruction procedure that <br /> the well driller must follow per their approved'permit. EHD modifications to well <br /> destruction procedures may occur in the field at the time of well destruction work. <br /> .r <br /> Monitoring Well Destruction Approach <br /> There are three monitoring wells at the Delta Disposal site at the locations shown <br /> on Figure 2.
