The information can be used in preparing a mass balance <br /> calculation of the contamination remaining in place and evaluation of <br /> excavation as a remedial alternative. <br /> 110 W. Sonora <br /> The air sparge/vapor extraction test was performed. There was <br /> discussion about an apparent preferential pathway observed during the air <br /> sparge test and that remediation of MTBE may not be effective using this <br /> alternative. Levels of MTBE are low compared to the other gasoline <br /> constituents evidenced at this site so this should be considered when <br /> evaluating remedial alternatives. A report of the air sparge/vapor <br /> extraction test is to be submitted to PHSIEHD.
