Margaret La orio EH
From: Margaret Lagorio [EN] '
Sent: Tuesday, July 25, 2006 11:55 AM i
To: sharla.hardy@ci.st6ckton.ca.us, '
Subject:.
110 Sonora, Stockton
I Sharla,
I'm providing this response to your telephone message about the above referenced site. Prior to considering sites that
have been contaminated from underground storage tank releases that have performed remediation and are to be
considered for a determination of no further actionrequired"all monitoring wells (including vapor wells with water in them.)
should be sampled and the water analyzed for all constituents of concern. In our meeting of January 2006 we discussed
two quarters of groundwater sampling
r undwater sam lin and testing prior to our meeting again in August. Unfortunately, all the wells were
not sampled because of previous agreements to not sample all the wells. l discussed with your consultant, Advanced
GeoEnvironmental, that wells MW2, MW4, RW1 and VW4 had not been sampled in March or Jdne 2006. Also,VW5s and
PZ1 have not been sampled since July 1999 and November 1997 at which time the samples had concentrations of
contaminants, so if it is possible to obtain samples from these wells, they also should be sampled and the water analyzed:
In addition, I discussed with your consultant addressing the issue of soil vapor intrusion that was also discussed at the
January 2006 meeting. This can again be discussed at our August meeting but I hoped the groundwater sampling of the
above listed wells could be performed prior to the August meeting. I hope this E-mail provides the information you need.
' Margaret
r
t
I
i
k
a
1
I
1
r
(M
k
