(AGF'.), and
Margaret Lagorio,Nuel C. l Iendcrson, and Jeff Wong representing EHD. i'he following is a
summary of the site discussions at the meeting.
An ozone sparge Nvell is to be installed in the source area near vapor well V_W-2d at the site. The well
will be constructed with a "micro-bubbling"well screen designed by the manufacturer of a micro-
spargmg syste.tn for introduction of ozone into groundwater. A wcll permit application and permit
fee have been submitted to EHD. A map with the new location of the ozone sparge well has to be a
submitted to before the permit will be issued. At the tnceting it was proposed chat the ozone
sparge well would be installed within 2 weeks.
Due to several qua:Ilcts of samples izom,'BIW-G having detectable levels of petroleum hydrocarbons,
it was discussed that the vertical extent of the contamination in groundwater may not be defined. A
site coaacept.tzal niocicl should lac prcl5ated by your consultant that\.7I1 evaluate if additional
investigation for the vertical extent of the groundwater plume is required, or if existing data is
sufficient to show that the groundwater plume has been vertically defined. The.site conceptual
model will be submitted to El-I.D within C weeks of the meeting.
The next quarterli-meeting with the City of Stockton to discuss the starts of this site is scheduled for
• r
10:00 a.m. on April 21,2005 at t1ie offices of EHD.
Donna l4cran, REI IS, Director.
Environmental 1 lealth Departluent
]Margaret Lagorio, Supervising RE14S
,t
Site Mitigation Unit
9
C CVRWQCB—Tames L.
