This report summarizes the
information available to date regarding contamination at the
site, local geology, and nearby wells and other utilities.
Soil samples taken at the site during tank removal operations
contained levels of contamination that exceed action levels
specified by the San Joaquin Local Health District. This report
includes a proposed Work Plan for delineating the vertical and
lateral extent of soil and ground-water contamination at the
site. We propose to drill three soil borings and to install
ground--water monitoring wells in the borings.
Two copies of this report should be forwarded as soon as possible
to Ms. Dianne Hinson of the San Joaquin County Local Health
District. We will proceed with well installation after approval
of the work plan and receipt of appropriates permits from San
Joaquin County.
trs
