The well would <br /> then be constructed with 4-inch diameter contin- <br /> uous wire wrap PVC well screen placed in a 12 inch <br /> diameter bore hole drilled to a total depth of 50 <br /> feet. The annular space between the casing .and <br /> the boring walls will be filled with q3 aquarium <br /> sand to a depth of fifteen feet below grade. An <br /> annular surface seal of two feet of bentonite <br /> overlain by thirteen feet of neat cement would be <br /> installed to tnnibit infiltration of any potential <br /> surface contamination. Typical well construction <br /> - details are on Figure 3. <br /> These two wells will be equipped with Grundfos <br /> water table depression pumps with teflon seals. <br /> Since free product is not expected to accumulate <br /> in these wills, product recovery pumps will not be <br /> installed. Groundwater pumped from these wells <br /> will be transported in below ground piping to the <br /> treatment compound at the southeast corner of the <br /> Tang Fat Enterprise property. Figure 4 depicts <br /> the location of the underground conduits <br /> relative to existing buildings on the properties. <br /> B. Pumping well 3 will be located on the Tang Fat <br /> w Enterprises property in the immediate vicinity of <br /> the leak point. An eighteen inch diameter <br /> borehole will. be drilled with a bucket auger rig <br /> to a depth of 50 feet below grade. The well will <br /> be constructed of eight inch diameter .020 inch <br /> slot steel well screen. The sand packing and <br /> sanitary seal will be to pumping wells .l & 2. <br /> This recovery well will. be equipped with a double <br /> pump recovery system consisting of a Grundfos <br /> 6 <br />
