1 <br />' Quarterly Monitoring Report - September 2003 <br /> City of Stockton - FIRE STATION#2 <br />' 110 West Sonora Street, Stockton, California <br />' 1 0 INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br />' At the request of the City of Stockton,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> report for corrective action activities conducted at 110 West Sonora Street, Stockton,California(the <br /> site) The location of the site and its surroundings are illustrated in Figure 1 Structures and well <br />' locations associated with the site are depicted in Figure 2 <br /> An ozone air-sparging system was operational at the site since 01 July 2003 This report documents <br />' monitoring of the ozone system and a ground water monitoring event on 29 September 2003 and <br /> presents the results of laboratory analysis of ground water samples <br /> 1 2.0. PROCEDURES <br />' Field procedures for ground water sampling are described below All field work was performed in <br /> accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB)guidelines for <br /> the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 21 OZONE SPARGE SYSTEM INSTALLATION <br /> An ozone-s ar in was installed at the site in late June and began <br /> p g g (OS system stem operation on Y g <br />' 01 July 2003 An oxygen condenser and ozone generator is fitted into a compressed air-stream <br /> through a throttled venture This flow stream is then connected to a manifold, under a timer cycled <br /> into the sparge wells using a 3/8-inch diameter PVC tubing to the two-inch diameter network via <br />' under ground piping The Ozone-TAS system delivers 10 standard cubic feet per minute (scfin) at <br /> a pressure of 20 pounds per square inch, adequate to displace the static water within each sparge <br /> well The ozone system was monitored and serviced over the quarter of operation <br /> 1 <br /> 2 2 QUARTERLY WELL MONITORING <br /> On 29 September 2003, depth to ground water was measured in monitoring wells MW-1 through <br /> MW-6 and vapor wells VW-1,VW-2d,VW-3 and VW-5d,while wells MW-1,MW-3,MW-5,MW- <br /> 6, VW-1, VW-2d, VW-3 and VW-5d were then purged and sampled <br />' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> 1 <br />
