s <br /> } <br /> 20 August 2002 <br /> AGE-NC Pi oject No 01--0827 <br /> Page 4 of 5 <br /> The laboratory report for soil analyses,testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality control <br /> (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report with <br /> findings and recommendations <br /> 34 SOIL DISPOSAL <br /> After soil disposal characterization, the hydrocarbon-impacted excavated soil will be transported by <br /> truck the appropriate, licensed landfill for disposal <br /> 3 5 REPORT PREPARATION <br /> Upon completion of field work and receipt of final laboratory analysis, a report will be prepared <br /> presenting the findings of the soil removal activities The report will include a description of the wol k <br /> performed and the results of the sampling and analysis Conclusions and applicable recommendations <br /> will be included in the report The report will be in a format acceptable to the EHD and CVRWQCB, <br /> and will be reviewed and signed by a California Registered Geologist <br /> 4.0. FIELD PROCEDURES <br /> All field procedures will be overseen by an AGE i epresentative under the supervision of a California <br /> Registered Geologist Procedures for soil excavation, soil sampling and equipment decontamination <br /> are outlined below <br /> 41 SOIL EXCAVATION PROCEDURES <br /> The soil will be excavated using an excavator and stockpiled on-site, covered by a plastic tarp The <br /> excavated soil will be field screened for the presence of volatile organic compounds using an OVM <br /> Based on OVM readings and field observations, the excavated soil will be segregated into clean soil <br /> and impacted soil, only soil exhibiting hydrocarbon odors of measured OVM readings will be <br /> disposed to a licenced landfill <br /> Prior to disposal,the hydrocarbon-impacted soil will be characterized by a DHS-certified laboratory <br /> After soil characterization,trucks will be utilized to transport the waste material for proper disposal <br /> • <br /> Advanced aoEnvarownental Inc <br />
