1
' Working To Restore Nature
6.6 2 2 System Sampling - Groundwater Remediation System
' The operation will include a monitoring and sampling program during which samples will be
taken and analyzed to both assess the progress of the remediation system and verify that
' concentrations of hydrocarbons are wid= the guidelines of City of Stockton, Health and
Sanitation Code.
7
Task—7. Systems„Pedgmance Evaluation
6.7.1 System Performance Evaluation - Vapor Extraction System
Following continued operation of the VES, a system performance evaluation will be conducted
' to monitor the effectiveness of the soil system, and a report will be issued on a quarterly basis.
This report may include the following hours of operation collected; system influent and effluent
field monitoring readings, laboratory results of influent and effluent air samples; total and
individual vapor extraction well flow rates; induced vacuum responses recorded m observation
' wells, all other relevant field data collected; and results obtained such as observed radius of
influence, system destruction efficiency, etc.
Recommendations will then be made to further optimize system performance and to further
' enhance remediation of impacted soil. Recommendations may include tie-in of additional vapor
' extraction wells to the remediation system, upgrading of the off-gas abatement unit, etc
' 6.7.2 System Performance Evaluation - Groundwater Remediation System
' This evaluation will be performed in conjunction with continued groundwater monitoring and
sampling at the site, and will be submitted together with the regularly scheduled quarterly
38039-9138009-9 FRP 18
