• July 21, 1993 Working To Restore Nature <br /> Fire Engine Company No 2, Stockton, California <br /> Task 3 VaRor-Extraction Test <br /> o Transport a portable vapor-extraction system to the site <br /> o Operate the vapor-extraction system as required to obtain vapor samples and vacuum <br /> and flowrate information. <br /> o Submit vapor samples to a State-certified laboratory for analyses of TPHg and <br /> BTEX <br /> Task 4 Feasibility Study <br /> o Interpret the field and laboratory data and evaluate the feasibility of available <br /> remedial alternatives Our feasibility study will include options for soil and <br /> groundwater remediation We will discuss our interpretation of the data with the <br /> client and make recommendations The remedial alternatives selected will be <br /> presented in the RAP <br /> The work will be performed in accordance with the Tri-Regional Board Staff <br /> Recommendations for Preliminary Evaluation and Investigation of Underground Tank Sites <br /> (California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region, August 1990), <br /> Appendix A to that document (August 1991), and the Leaking Underground Fuel Tank <br /> Manual (California Leaking Underground Fuel Tank Task Force, 1989) The vapor- <br /> extraction test will be conducted in accordance with San Joaquin County Air Quality District <br /> guidelines <br /> PROJECT STAFF <br /> Mr Richard H Walls, a Registered Civil Engineer in the State of California (P E 43139), <br /> will be in charge of this project Mr David F Stavarek, Protect Geologist, will manage field <br /> and office operations RESNA employs a staff of geologists, engineers, and technicians who <br /> will help complete the project <br /> We recommend copies of this Work Plan Addendum be sent to Ms Linda Turkett of the <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division P O Box 2009, <br /> Stockton, California 95201, and Ms Elizabeth Thayer of the California Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region, 3443 Routier Road, Sacramento California <br /> 95827-3098 <br /> • 38009-4w 4 <br />
