The results of ground water
monitoring through January 1996, the installation of additional site monitoring wells, and
initial sampling results for the six monitoring wells now on site are also discussed.
Given the results of soil remediation presented in the attached report, and assuming negative
results for planned ground water monitoring for dissolved lead (minimum of three quarters),
SPTCo/Terranext assume that no further action will be required at the Old Tracy Yard site.
We further assume that the California Regional Water Quality Control Board will provide
written documentation of closure when all required results are available.
If you have questions regarding this report or the preliminary request for site closure, please
contact either of the undersigned at (916) 369-8971 or Mr. Randall Smith of SPTCo at
(415) 541-2559.
Sincerely,
TERRANEXT
Kis .
