Specifically, this addend am <br /> presents further details regarding well destruction using pressure <br /> grouting technique. <br /> All well destruction activities will be performed by Gregg Drilling+u <br /> Testing, Inc., (Gregg) in strict accordance with San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) Well <br /> Standards. Specifically, in accordance with Section 13.17 of the PH�i <br /> EHD Well Standards, the foi.lowing procedure will be employed for wells <br /> to be pressure grouted: <br /> • Section 13.17.12. A hole at least one (1) foot larger in diameter than <br /> the originally drilled hole will be excavated around the outside Df the <br /> well casing to a depth of 3 feet below ground surface (based on :he <br /> assumption that the original boreholes were 8 inches in diameter, the <br /> diameter of the excavation will be a minimum of 20 inches). Th-2 well <br /> casing will then be cut off 6 inches above the bottom of the exca-,,ation <br /> and removed. <br />
