Every effort will be made to separate <br /> contaminated sail from the clean. Clean sell will be stored <br /> on the west side of the property and contaminated soil WILL be <br /> loaded into trucks and transported to forward Inc. as It 1s <br /> being excavated. <br /> 7. Soil Sampling Soil sampling will be accomplished <br /> by retrieving material from the Appropriate areas with the <br /> excavator bucket. Samples will be taken from the bucket by <br /> WM. Hunter and Associates at the direction of the bJ HHS/LHD <br /> represent it ive on site. All sampling and analyses will rol low <br /> LUFT guidelines and be transported by -Wm. Hunter and Assoc. <br /> represent i t i ve directly to Fruit browers Laboratories, located <br /> in Stockton, CA, under chain of custody. Samples will be <br /> tested for TPH-D and BTE & X using the approved methods. We <br /> propose to take seven (7) sidewal l and three (3) bottom <br /> samples from the excavation and eight (H) from the pipeline <br /> trench. Samples will be taken equidistant around the <br /> perimeter and along the length of the bottom of the excavation <br /> (see drawings #2, 3 & 4) . Locations of the samples may change <br /> at the direction of SJHS/EHD represent it ive on site. The <br /> total number of samples may be altered if conditions warrant a <br /> change. <br /> 8. Temporary Fence . A temporary fence will be placed <br /> around the excavation until backfilled. <br /> 9. Backfill . Backfilling will be done by <br /> Concrete Inc, personel. Backfill material will be whichever <br /> is appropriate for the desired condition. <br /> 10. Work Schedule . Work can begin within 14 days of <br /> SJPHS/EHD approval of this work plan. Sample analyses results <br /> should be ready for review within 2 weeks. <br /> 11.
