According to our notes, the County contacted Mike
Golden of the Department of General Services on April 27, 2000. Mr. Golden stated that the
Department of General Services is in no way responsible for the underground storage tanks at the site,
and that CSUS is the responsible party(RP). Subsequently, we sent the "Notice of Responsibility' to
Mark Lemieux at CSUS. On July 7, 2000, a workplan approval was mailed to the Department of
General Services and was returned to the county by the post office with the notation "Not deliverable as
addressed, unable to forward." The workplan approval was then sent to Mark Lamieux. On August 31,
2000,the County changed the listed RP contact to Cliff Bailey.
If you have any questions that about the information I am sending you, please do not hesitate to call me.
Dot Lofstr
