Tf - -
Third Quarter 2005 Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report
Stockton Center Site Authority—University Park
October 18,2005
groundwater in the monitor wells was 39.73 feet below the surveyed well collar measuring points (the
measuring points are slightly below the ground surface). The average groundwater elevation measured in
the monitoring wells increased 0.36 foot between May 2, 2005 and September 1, 2005. The estimated
groundwater gradient for the Site on September 1, 2005, was 0.0006 ft/ft to the northeast and is shown in
Figure 2, attached.
Table 2 Groundwater Elevation Data(September 1,2005)
Well Number TOC Elevation(feet) Depth to Groundwater(feet), Groundwater Elevation{feet)
MW-1 17.42 39.77 -22.35
MW-2 17.59 39.90 -22.31
} MW-3 17.16 . 39.52 =22.36
f TOC=Top of Casing
TQC Elevation:Referenced to NAVD88 datum from NGS Benchmark HS3999.
t LABORATORY ANALYTICAL RESULTS
Groundwater samples were collected from monitor wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3 on September 1,
2005,after purging. All groundwater samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified
as gasoline (TPH-G) by EPA Method 8015M, for benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and total xylenes
i'
(BTEX) by EPA Method 8020, and for gasoline oxygenates/additives by EPA Method 8260B. The
gasoline oxygenates/additives included methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE), ethanol, tertiary-butanol
(TBA), di-isopropyl ether (RIPE), ethyl tertiary-butyl ether (ETBE), tertiary-amyl methyl ether (TAME),
1,2-dibromoethane (EDB or 1,2-DBA), and 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA). The groundwater samples
were also analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as kerosene, diesel, and motor oil (TPH-
K, -D, and -MO) by EPA Method 8015M. The laboratory analytical results for the groundwater samples
collected from the monitor wells on September 1, 2005, are presented in Table 3, on the next page, and in
Figure 3, attached. Historical groundwater monitoring data and the laboratory report (certificates of
analyses and chain-of-custody record) are also attached.
f
i
w
i t
1 -
{
1
llf t CONDOR
