In a letter dated November 8, 2004, Mr. Henderson <br /> of the SJCEHD expressed concern with two aspects of the.-proposed approach and requested submittal of <br /> a work plan addendum by January 17, 2005, addressing his concerns. Concurrently,. Site development <br /> j plans continued to evolve such that a structure planned for the Site vicinity was to be located well away <br /> from the Site contaminant source area and that a parking lot for the structure would be built over the Site <br /> source area. These considerations indicated the potential for consideration of less aggressive Site <br /> remediation techniques. <br /> As a result of the above considerations a meeting was held on December 17, 2004, with all concerned <br /> parties in attendance. As a result of the meeting it was agreed that Condor would prepare a work plan for <br /> E additional groundwater investigation and feasibility evaluation of various remediationoptions for the Site. <br /> 1 Condor subsequently prepared and submitted the Additional Groundwater Investigation and Remediation <br /> Feasibility Evaluation Work Flan, dated January 25, 2005. The above-mentioned work plan was then <br /> submitted on February 7, 2005. The work plan was conditionally approved in a letter:received by Condor <br /> from the SJCEHD on April 8, 2005. Condor is currently conducting project cost estimation and planning <br /> activities. <br /> - LIMITATIONS AND SIGNATURE <br /> Condor has endeavored to determine as much as practical about the Site within our scope of services <br /> using accepted principles and professional practice at the time the work was performed. Condor's <br /> involvement in the work performed for this report has been limited to collecting and recording system <br /> measurements and parameters; collecting and shipping samples; compiling field data and data provided <br /> by analytical laboratories; and interpreting field and laboratory data. Condor makes no representation as <br /> to the subsurface conditions at locations or times other than those sampled by our employees and reported <br /> in this document. Condor is not responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information collected <br /> and developed by others. <br /> This report was prepared by Condor under the direct supervision of a Professional Geologist in the State <br /> of California. The report was prepared at the request of, and is for the sole use of, the SCSA. If any <br /> changes are made or errors found in the information used for this report, the :interpretations and <br /> conclusions contained herein shall not be considered valid unless the changes or errors are reviewed by <br /> Condor and either appropriately modified or re-approved in writing.
