Note
that the analysis is a Modified EPA 8015, for petroleum hydrocarbons. It was a commonly used analysis at the time
because it allows for efficient screening for a range of hydrocarbons in a single analysis A disadvantage is that the
detection limits are higher than those obtainable from the CA LUFT methods, which has since become the standard.
Nevertheless, the chromatograms provided will allow you make some assessment of hydrocarbon presence for
the samples Overall, as you can see, the samples are very clean with no indication of hydrocarbons detected. I have
included a typical method blank which was analyzed as part of this sample batch to provide a background reference
Additionally, please note the following-
93-02-090 Sample #35A has hydrocarbons detected, but does not match the pattern of hydrocarbons for any of
the target analytes (jP4, Gasoline, Diesel, Motor Oil) as noted in the data report.
93-02-091 Samples #5A& #6A show a hydrocarbon response, but the pattern did not match the pattern of any
target analytes and the response was far below the reporting limit.
93-02-108 Sample#1A has hydrocarbons detected, but the patter dW rtt i thift&the pattern of any target analytes
as noted in the data report.
I hope this is of help to you on flus project, Thank you and good luck.
Sincerely,
EUREKA LABORATORIES, INC
0 BY
Bruce G.
