The <br /> boring is to be advanced with a hand auger and sampling system. If alternative <br /> drilling methods are required, additional costs may be incurred. <br /> • No respiratory protection or shoring will be necessary. <br /> • Soil generated during the drilling and sampling will be the responsibility of the <br /> client. Soil cuttings will be placed on plastic, covered, and stored inside the <br /> garage. Disposal or remediation options for the soil can be assessed once <br /> analytical results have been received. Kleinfelder can assist the client with the <br /> disposal of soil if necessary. <br /> • The client will be responsible for locating all underground utilities and other <br /> subsurface structures that could interfere with drilling operations or be <br /> damaged during drilling. Failure to locate such lines or structures will be the <br /> sole responsibility of the client. Underground Services Alert (USA) at 1-800- <br /> 642-2444 provides this service free of charge for major utility lines, <br /> Kleinfelder can make contact with USA for a site visit, if requested. <br /> • Groundwater is anticipated at a depth of approximately 50 to 60 feet below <br /> ground surface.
