KLEINFELDER <br /> Contamination) The guidelines require two samples for every 50 cubic yards of soil <br /> excavated. The anticipated of area to be removed is shown on Plate 3 (8' by 8' by 4 ' <br /> deep) It is estimated that 10 to 15 cubic yards of soil will be removed and two soil <br /> samples will be collected from the excavation for chemical analysis <br /> i <br /> 5 California Analytical Laboratory/Enseco of West Sacramento, California, has been <br /> contracted to analyze soil samples collected during re-excavation. The samples will <br /> be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons extractable (Method 3550) by GC- <br /> FID. The name of the contracted laboratory has been included on the attached <br /> "Authorization to Release,Analytical Data" form. <br /> 6. The amount of soil to be excavated is expected to be between 10 and 15 cubic yards <br /> This estimate4 is based on field observations made February 23, 1989, and <br /> 04 <br /> concentration of TPH in the soil sample from the eastNof the tank A backhoe will <br /> be used to excavate the contamination soil <br /> 7 Soil removed from the excavation will be stockpiled onsite Based on the results of <br /> the sample analysis, the soil will be transported to an appropriate class landfill The <br /> .
