Soil and grab groundwater samples will be collected from appropriate lithological intervals and analyzed by EPA
approved methods for TPHg,TPHd,BTEX,oxygenated fuel additives,1,2-DCA and EDB.
COINIALENTS.AND CONDITIONS:
1. Six CPT borings may be more than necessary at this stage of the investigation, especially since none of the borings
were justified within the context of a site conceptual model(SCAT).
2. SJC/EHD approves four CPT borings, which should be adequate for initial geological modeling and vertical
assessment of the groundwater. Additional sample points may be added later.
3. Recommended proposed locations of the borings are those most northeastern, southern, western and near the
former dispenser island area.
4. The report of findings is due within 60 days following receipt of all analytical data from the investigation, and should
include a SC,'v1. .All future work plans should be presented in the context of the current SCM.
Lori Duncan,Senior REHS Nuel C.
