Quarterly Report - Fourth Quarter 2004 <br /> SUTTER OFFICE CENTER <br />' 242 North Sutter Street, Stockton, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> I <br /> At the request of Ms Juli Lozano, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> I quarterly report for the property located at 242 North Sutter Street, Stockton, California(site) The <br /> scope of work included the performance of a fourth quarter ground water monitoring event and <br /> preparation of this report The location of the site and surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1, <br /> Istructures, former underground storage tank (UST) and dispenser locations, and soil boring and <br /> monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br />' This report was prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB)guidelines for the investigation of UST sites Site history and findings from previous <br />' investigations and monitoring events are provided in Appendix A <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines established by the CVRWQCB for the <br /> investigation of UST sites Ground water monitoring procedures were performed as outlined in the <br /> AGE-prepared Additional Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 25 October 2002 <br />' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br />' On 30 December 2004, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water <br /> in all three monitoring wells relative to the tops of the well casings After the depth to ground water <br /> measurements were collected, casing water in monitoring well MW-1 was evacuated using a <br /> dedicated, disposable plastic bailer Approximately 5 gallons of water were evacuated from well <br /> MW-1, equivalent to three casing-water volumes of the well <br /> Temperature,pH,and conductivity of the purged water were measured at regular intervals using an <br /> Oakton water analyzer Field data logs are provided in Appendix B Previously purged water was <br />' containerized in properly labeled, 55-gallon drum and stored on-site However, the drum was not <br /> present on the site Therefore, the waste was transported off-site and containerized in a 55-gallon <br /> drum and then returned to the site for storage <br /> I <br /> 2 2 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> Water samples were collected from well MW-1 using a dedicated, disposable bailer after allowing <br /> the well to achieve a minimum 80% recovery of the pre-purge water volume The samples from <br /> Advanced GeoEnvimnmental,Inc <br /> r <br />
