1 <br /> � f <br /> Quarterly Report - Third Quarter 2004 <br /> SUTTER OFFICE CENTER <br />' 242 North Sutter Street, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Ms Jull Lozano, Advanced GeoEnvlronmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br />' quarterly report for the property located at 242 North Sutter Street, Stockton, California(site) The <br /> scope of work included the performance of a quarterly ground water monitoring event and <br />' preparation of this report The location of the site and surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1, <br /> structures, former underground storage tank (UST) and dispenser locations, and soil boring and <br /> monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br />' This report was prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB)guidelines for the investigation of UST sites Site history and findings from previous <br />' investigations and monitoring events are provided in Appendix A <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines established by the CVRWQCB for the <br /> investigation of UST sites Ground water monitoring procedures were performed as outlined in the <br /> AGE-prepared Additional Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 25 October 2002 <br />' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br />' On 23 July 2004, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in all <br /> three monitoring wells relative to the tops of the well casings After the depth to ground water <br /> measurements were collected, casing water In monitoring well MW-1 was evacuated using a <br /> dedicated, disposable plastic bailer Approximately 3 gallons of water were evacuated from well <br /> MW-1, equivalent to three casing-water volumes of the well <br />' Temperature,pH, and conductivity of the purged water were measured at regular intervals using an <br /> Oakton water analyzer Field data logs are provided in Appendix B Purged water was containerized <br />' in properly labeled, 55-gallon Department of Transportation (DOT)-approved drums and stored <br /> on-site <br /> I2 2 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> I Water samples were collected from well MW-1 using a dedicated, disposable bailer after allowing <br /> the well to achieve a minimum 80% recovery of the pre-purge water volume The samples from <br /> • MW-1 were transferred into three 40-milliliter(ml)volatile organic analysis(VOA)vials containing <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
