Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2005 <br /> SUTTER OFFICE CENTER <br /> I242 North Sutter Street, Stockton, California <br /> I1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Ms Juh Lozano, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br />' quarterly report for the property located at 242 North Sutter Street, Stockton, California(site) The <br /> scope of work included the performance of a second quarter ground water monitoring event and <br /> preparation of this report The location of the site and surrounding area are illustrated on Figure 1, <br /> structures, former underground storage tank (UST) and dispenser locations, and soil boring and <br /> monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br /> This report was prepared in accordance with California Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of UST sites Site history and findings from previous <br /> investigations and monitoring events are provided in Appendix A <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Field work was performed in accordance with guidelines established by the CRWQCB for the <br /> investigation of UST sites Ground water monitoring procedures were performed as outlined in the <br /> AGE-prepared Additional Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 25 October 2002 <br /> 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> EOn 16 June 2005, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in all <br /> three monitoring wells relative to the tops of the well casings After the depth to ground water <br /> measurements were collected, casing water in monitoring well MW-1 was evacuated using a <br /> Idedicated, disposable plastic bailer Approximately 4 gallons of water were evacuated from well <br /> MW-1, equivalent to three casing-water volumes of the well <br /> Temperature,pH, and conductivity of the purged water were measured at regular intervals using an <br /> Oakton water analyzer Field data logs are provided in Appendix B Purged water was containerized <br /> Iin a properly labeled, Department of Transportation (DOT) 55-gallon drum and stored on-site <br />' 22 COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> A water sample was collected from well MW-1 using a dedicated,disposable bailer after allowing <br /> Ithe well to achieve a minimum 80% recovery of the pre-purge water volume The sample from <br /> . MW-1 was transferred into three 40-milliliter(ml)volatile organic analysis(VOA)vials containing <br /> 0 5 ml 18% hydrochloric acrd solution as a sample preservative The sample was labeled with the <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmentel,Inc <br /> I <br />
