N <br /> 28 January 2005 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 02-0964 <br /> Page 3 of 7 <br /> Laboratory reports of both soil and ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality <br /> assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be <br /> presented in a report <br /> 2 3 MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION, DEVELOPMENT AND SURVEY <br /> The pilot borings will be completed as single-level ground water monitoring wells screened from <br /> 20 to 40 feet bsg for the shallow wells and near a depth of 95 to 100 feet bsg for the deeper well <br /> Following Installation, each well will be developed to maximize water flow and minimize the <br /> amount of fine-grained sediment drawn Into the well during pumping or balling, and the top of each <br /> existing and newly Installed well casing (well head) will be surveyed to determine Its elevation <br /> relative to mean sea level Procedures for well Installation, development and survey are presented <br /> in Sections 3 2 and 3 3 , respectively <br /> 2 4 GROUND WATER SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS <br /> Following the installation of the new monitoring wells, ground water monitoring and sampling <br /> activities will be conducted for all the monitoring wells on a quarterly basis for a minimum of one <br /> year (four sampling events), monitoring activities will include recording depth to ground water <br /> measurements and collection of ground water samples for laboratory analysis by a DHS-certified <br /> laboratory for the analytes noted in Section 2 2 Ground water sample collection protocols are <br /> described in Section 3 4 <br /> Laboratory reports for ground water analyses,testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality <br /> control (QA/QC)reports and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in quarterly <br /> reports with findings and recommendations <br /> 25 PREPARATION OF REPORT OF FINDINGS <br /> Following each ground water monitoring event, a quarterly report will be prepared presenting the <br /> findings Each report will include a description of work performed and the results of the groundwater <br /> sampling and analysis Laboratory reports for ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory <br /> quality assurance/quality control(QA/QC)reports,and sample chain of custody documentation will <br /> be presented in the quarterly report Conclusions and recommendations will also be included, if <br /> applicable The report will be in a format acceptable to the CVRWQCB, and will be reviewed and <br /> signed by a California Registered Geologist <br /> Advanced GeoEnviron mental,Inc <br />
