PHS/EHD has the <br /> following commments: <br /> -Since there has been a history of groundwater gradient fluctuations at <br /> this site and a downgradient monitoring well has not been established <br /> relative to the former underground fuel tanks, a downgradient monitoring <br /> well should be considered at this time. <br /> -PHS/EHD will monitor the gradient direction at this site over the next <br /> few quarterly reports in order to monitor the need for additional <br /> monitoring wells. <br /> -Pursuant to Section 2652 (d) of the Underground Storage Tank <br /> Regulations (California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Subchapter 16) a <br /> quarterly monitoring report shall be submitted to Public Health <br /> Services, Environmental Health Division and Central Valley Regional <br /> Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) until the investigation and <br /> cleanup of the site is deemed adequate. <br /> If you have any question, contact Michael Collins, RENS, at (209) 468-0338. <br /> rnest M.
