(Cambria) is submitting this well
abandonment report for the site referenced above. After obtaining a well abandonment permit(number
012571)from San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Cambria mobilized to the site and abandoned
monitoring well MW-1 on May 20, 1997. The well abandonment was supervised by Cambria engineer
Brian Busch, and was accomplished by pressure grouting in place with portland cement using a tremie
pipe. The surface was refinished with concrete to match the existing surface conditions. The
E abandoned well vault was removed from the site by the drilling contractor, V&W Drilling of Rio Vista,
California. . A copy of the permit application and the Department of Water Resources (DWR) well
completion report is included as Attachment A.
{ Since only low concentrations of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline(TPHg) were detected in soil
and no TPHg or benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes (BTEX) were detected in ground water,
we recommend case closure for this site.
We appreciate your assistance to this case. Please call if you have any questions or-comments.
f
j Sincerely,
Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc. ?eD G
iAMBRIA
ENVIRONMENTAL G 0
{ TECHNOLOCY,.INC.
