A soil sample for <br /> rmeabilitymeasurement of <br /> measurement will be secured. The p <br /> the soil sample is pant of the aquifer test . <br /> The wells will be drilled using a 10--inch CME 55 or 75 hollow <br /> stem auger in accordance with standard procedures . <br /> During drilling, soil samples will be collected at 5-foot <br /> intervals beginning at 5 feet below grade and terminating <br /> below the water table. Soil samples will be obtained through <br /> a split spoon sampler lined with stainless steel tubes <br /> samples recovered for analysis will be sealed airtight with <br /> Teflon tape and plastic caps, and placed immediately .into an <br /> iced cooler. <br /> Each ground water monitoring well will be completed to a <br /> depth of 20 feet below grade. Each well will be constructed <br /> of clean 4--inch diameter Schedule 40, PV'C piper with � <br /> 0. 020-Rinch perforations, and the required gravel packs. <br /> The well design and construction will be in accordance with <br /> the SJCEHD and RWQCB guidelines . The top of each well shall <br /> be secured with socking caps and Christy bones finished flush <br /> with the ground surface. <br /> The monitoring wells will be properly developed and sampled <br /> in accordance with SJCEHD and RWQC;B guidelines. Water <br /> samples will be collected from each of the wells and placed <br /> in sterile containers for transport to a State certified <br /> laboratory. <br /> All the wells will be surveyed as to location and elevation <br /> in reference to an established benchmark or a common datum to <br /> within 0 . 01 Foot . 'Wates level at each well will be measured � <br /> as well as the thickness of free floating product, if <br /> present, using an electronic sounder. <br /> Soil and ground water samples will be Lransported to a State � <br /> certified laboratory for analysis following proper chain of <br /> custody procedures. Soil samples will be analyzed for TPH as <br /> gasoline with BTEX distinction. <br /> Water samples will be analyzed for the same constituents <br /> above.
