Tracy Blvd. Tracy, CA Well Destructions
Hello Harlin,
I wanted to inform you that the well destructions for the above referenced site have been scheduled for 9/6
through 9/14. We will be destroying 15 wells total, 6 will be pressure grout and overdrill the top 5 ft. and the
other 9 will be overdrills to TD.The last time I was on a site in San Joaquin County, we were asked to overdrill
the pressure grout wells to 3 or 5 feet(I can't remember now) utilizing a 20"auger. Is this standard practice? If
so, my driller does not have 20" augers and the other drilling company that is Phillips 66 approved does not have
20" augers either(not to mention if we changed drillers,we would have to start the permitting process all over
again, which I would prefer not to do)Can you offer a solution to this issue that satisfies both parties?
ThankY ou,
Lauren Palazzolo
Lauren Palazzolol Staff Geologist I ATC Associates Inc.
