• Analysis of effluent water samples collected from E-1 during resampling <br /> (May 18, 1992) did not detect TPH-G, TPH-D, or BTEX at or above <br /> reported detection Imuts. <br /> • Analysis of influent water samples collected from I-1 during the fifth day <br /> (May 27, 1992) detected 0 32 ppb toluene. <br /> • Analysis of effluent water samples collected from E-1 during the fifth day <br /> (May 27, 1992) did not detect TPH-G, TPH-D, or BTEX at or above <br /> reported detection limits Results of the fish toxicity bioassay indicated <br /> LC-50 is at 100 percent survival <br /> CONCLUSIONS <br /> Based on analytical results of the water samples collected from the ARS, Alton Geoscience <br /> concludes the following <br /> • Effluent discharged was in compliance with NPDES permit discharge limits <br /> for all analyses performed <br /> • The ARS is working effectively in removing dissolved-phase hydrocarbons <br />. from the ground water <br /> LIMITATIONS <br /> Ground water treatment operations and laboratory analyses summarized in this report have <br /> been conducted in accordance with current practice and standard of care exercised by <br /> geologists and engineers performing similar tasks in this area The conclusions presented <br /> herein are based solely on analysis of the observed conditions <br /> i <br />
