Influent samples should be representative of the <br /> volume and nature of the influent. The following shall constitute the effluent <br /> monitoring program- <br /> Sampling <br /> Constituents Units Type of Sample Frequency <br /> Total Petroleum <br /> Hydrocarbons' dug/l Grab Quarterly <br /> Benzene' ug/l Grab Quarterly <br /> Ethylbenzene' pug/l Grab Quarterly <br /> Toluene' pg/l Grab Quarterly <br /> Xylene' ug/1 Grab Quarterly <br /> ' By EPA Method 8015, Modified (GCFID, EPA 5030) . <br /> 2 By EPA Method 602, or an equivalent method. <br /> EFFLUENT MONITORING <br /> Effluent samples shall be collected downstream from the last connection through <br /> which wastes can be admitted into the outfall . Effluent samples should be repre- <br /> sentative of the volume and quality of the discharge. Time of collection of samples <br /> shall be recorded.
