The containers <br /> were: <br /> -One 55-gallon drum with used paper oil filters observed with no hazardous waste label. Operator filled out <br /> hazardous waste label while inspector was on site and place on container. <br /> -One 55-gallon drum with waste coolant observed with no hazardous waste properties. <br /> -One 300-gallon used oil tote observed with no hazardous waste properties, physical state, name and address of <br /> generator. Operator corrected on site, by filling in hazardous waste properties, physical state, name and address of <br /> generator. <br /> -One 5-gallon bucket with used paper oil filters observed with no accumulation start date, no name and address, no <br /> hazardous properties and no physical properties. <br /> Note: Operator stated that he places hazardous waste label for waste coolant on wall, due to hazardous waste <br /> transporter removing the drum from site. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 6-21-2020 . <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
