The apprp <br /> disclosure of a hazardous waste discharge pursuant to Section 25180.7 of the <br /> madeon the list <br /> Health aninsafet Codetes ihas <br /> s abeen <br /> Joaqu n�Countyand hwhiche isamabnt aineds een cby PHS/EHD. <br /> of <br /> PHS/EHD has been designated by the State of California Water Resources Control <br /> Board (SWRCB) as the local agency overseeing the investigation of leaking <br /> USTs. Pursuant to Section 25299.37 (HSC) , "dischargers" must take corrective <br /> action in response to the unauthorized release. <br /> Please be advised that PHS/EHD will be utilizing the SWRCB "Prioritization <br /> System for Leaking Underground Storage Tank Sites" ranking list in order to <br /> prioritize all the contaminated sites. The "Prioritization System" has <br /> en <br /> gh <br /> Priority h5ites,t andato Low Prioritylsh Sites. Sites specifics conditty ions which <br /> te <br /> influence the placement within the ranking system are, for example, depth to <br /> groundwater, proximity to a drinking water source (municipal or domestic <br /> f soil contamination, and the site's clean up funding <br /> well) , the extent o <br /> availability. <br /> Based upon the priority ranking, you will be directed to begin the requherever <br /> ired <br /> investigation. However, given the conditions for the prioritization, <br /> rk with you to coincide enforcement <br /> many questions, <br /> pin <br /> ossible PHS/EHD will woyou havecontact <br /> conjunction with secured clean up funding.
